Returning home, the aroma of freshly baked bread would tantalize my senses. Holding the hot non delicately with a kitchen cloth, I would rush back to my waiting grandfather. He would greet me with a smile, take the bread, reverently kiss it, and place it against his forehead—a testament to its revered status.
